Vocal Presets

FlowState includes vocal presets that instantly give your vocals a professional sound. Choose a style, and the right combination of EQ, compression, and effects is applied automatically.

Using Vocal Presets

  1. Select your vocal track
    Click on the track with your recorded vocals.
  2. Open the Vocal Chain
    Click the microphone icon or right-click → "Vocal Chain".
  3. Browse presets
    See the list of available vocal presets.
  4. Click to apply
    Instantly applies the preset to your vocals.

Available Presets

Clean Vocal

Natural, transparent processing:

Radio Ready

Polished, broadcast-quality sound:

Lo-Fi Vocal

Vintage, warm character:

Trap Vocal

Modern trap/hip-hop sound:

Dreamy Vocal

Ethereal, spacious sound:

Telephone

Lo-fi phone effect:

Megaphone

Aggressive, distorted sound:

Tip: Start with the "Clean Vocal" preset and adjust from there. It's easier to add effects than to undo heavy processing.

Customizing Presets

After applying a preset, you can tweak the individual effects:

  1. Apply the preset as a starting point
  2. Open the Vocal Chain panel
  3. Adjust individual effect parameters
  4. Save as a custom preset if you like the result

Presets combine these effects in different ways:

Creating Your Own Presets

  1. Set up your vocal chain
    Adjust all the effects the way you like them.
  2. Click "Save Preset"
    In the Vocal Chain panel.
  3. Name your preset
    Give it a descriptive name.
  4. Use it anytime
    Your custom preset appears in the preset list.
